What are long distance relays?
These races involve teams of runners completing a long distance course. Teams typically consist of 5-12 runners and the total distance is usually 80-200 miles. Each runner may run up to 3 times. The team travels by van from one exchange to another, dropping off the next runner and picking up previous runner. See our "links" section for a list of relays throughout the world. |
