Rouge-Orleans Relay 2012

"The Rouge-Orleans is a 100+ mile ultra-marathon and team relay that starts in the capital city of Baton Rouge and finishes in Audubon Park in New Orleans.  The run coincides with the Mardi Gras carnival season, so runners are no only treated to a great run, but also the most unique after party on the planet.  Participants will run on top of the levee and follow the mighty Mississippi as it meanders its way 126.2 miles down to New Orleans.  Running alongside old farms, plantations, sugarcane fields, swamps, and of course the river will give runners a chance to see Southern Landscapes at their purest."
